Dr. Craig Chandler is holding a two liter strawberry measuring container.

This type of container is to be used to contain the strawberries in order to determine the volume of strawberries picked from each mound. Each mound consistts of two rows of strawberry plants.

The structures that constist of half round hoops and a plastic cover are referred to as tunnels.

In front of each mound is a sign that will designate the mound id. MG1 through MG 4 are in tunnel 1 (west end of field). MG 5 through MG 11 are in tunnel 2 (east end of field). MG 12 through MG 22 mounds are uncovered and east of tunnel 2.
